Is there a GTS Series along the lines of AI/CMC in the RM region?

Kind of...
The AI , CMC , SM, 944-spec series are well established in Our region. We keep track of points and have 5 cars per race. At the end of the year We will crown a champion and get ready to beat Dave Dirks next year.
GTS is a series that seeks to include different cars (German) and let them compete agianst each other. We have been lucky in that we have a GREAT group of PCA/NASA racers who went to both Pueblo events !
I would guess if GTS had a series director like RayBob or Myself it could be the largest field at every NASA event ! it's not much of a stretch to say spec E30 and 944-Spec / Cup fit within GTS.
Bottom line GTS is a great series all We need is a few BMW's !

Thanks Kyle, but I'm a bowtie guy ;) :p :D
I guess I was really asking if running season points are compiled, or if the series hasn't been developed to the same point as the AI, CMC and 944 Spec series.

Ian,
We have a 95 Pontiac Formula Firebird. (Bowtie powered)
(like Tommy's Green one)
It will make a run in the front CMC car or a mid pack AI car depending on how much you wanna spend.
6K to 8K for run in the front CMC.
20K +/- for run in the front AI
Go Big (Bore) or Go Home!!!!!:D
BTW, Don't tell anybody but I'm also a Bowtie guy :D

All race classes get scored for points per the CCR. Some classes such as AI/CMC and 944 may have their own record keeping. So, yes you have points in GTS-3 championship and are eligible for a trophy at the end of the year.

Thanks David. Is there anyone, i.e. a series director, that is keeping track and regularly posting the standings?

Thanks Raybob - if I had to choose American it would be bowtie. But at heart I'm "cake (struedel) eater" ;) :D If I had it all over to do again, one of the German Spec classes would be where you would find me.

Ian, you should take a class from Raybob and Chuck, to see what they put in their cool-aid and how they get so many people to drink it! :)

LOL Hank. So far, at least at Pueblo, it looks like the GTS Kool-Aid has been deeply drunk - I know I have ;)
Thanks for the votes ;) I'm happy to help. I guess a call to David is in order...
