FS: Enkei RPF1 wheels w/ Pilot Sport Cup

Sold to a VW enthusiast in CA

For sale (to help finance a spec 944 project):

Enkei RPF1 (http://64.176.57.122/images/RPF1.jpeg), 17x8, 5x100 bolt pattern w/ Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires, 225/45R17.

These are lightweight (15.6 lbs.), strong wheels used by many professional race teams. Tires are the same speced on Porsche 911 GT3 RS, and are considered an R compound, but more durable with about twice the durometer rating of a typical R comp race/track tire. Setup purchased in March of this year for over $2000, only have three track days on them (several more track days are in the tires). Professionally balanced by Tire Source in Boulder, tires heat cycled by Tire Rack prior to use. Wheel bolts included. Overall excellent condition with zero marks/scratches on wheels.

From an '04 VW R32...will bolt straight up to any Mk4 VW Golf/GTI/Jetta.

Yes, the negotiations are always fun... :D

Going back to near stock - will keep a few basics like the rear sway bar, but since the .:R will now be dedicated to the street (and I need some extra $ to buy/build a 944), I don't need such high-end equipment like the Enkeis and KW V3s.

Boy do I, I just don't have the money for them, or better said, I've got current monies allocated for other expenditures. With two sets of wheels already, all 17x8s, I don't know that I can justify (rationally justify ;) ) a third set at this point, especially since I hope to be stuffing an 17x10 or 17x11 wheel in the wells. At that point I'll be looking for new wheels again. Yah, she'd kill me.
