Guys I have some terrible news, some of you may have noticed a new member asking about CMC under the screen name mdlackey. He called me on Friday and was asking some questions about CMC and what the deal was, when I tried to return his call today I was informed by his girlfriend that he had passed away on Sunday.
I didn't know Dave but it is always sad when we lose one of our own. My prayers go out to his family and friends.

I don't know what to say. We were all just getting to know him, some more than others. It's a shame that I didn't get to meet him.

Is there any way the NASA community could reach out to the family in this tough time? I am sure they are experiencing a difficult time.

I don't have anything except an email address - he isn't in the NASA membership database. Cody has a phone#.
