We're close enough that we can see an extended 10 day forcast out to saturday.
Currently it's looking like 40 degrees with rain and snow showers for Saturday.
Obviously it's an extended forcast that could (and I'm hoping will) change.
As of right now it looks like we'll be playing in the wet though.
nah. it'll be dry. but i'll bring my wiper blades as extra weight. :)

Depends on who you check with....

These guys show lots of Sun. Combine that with cold rain and we'll end up somewhere in between!!

have you tried rain x?
Rain-X? Sure. Does that mean I don't have to find the wipers to pass tech? :)

Looking kind of cold ... maybe that race suit will feel nice and warm inside....
I'm glad my car still has a heater.

you'll probably still need the wipers to pass, but rain-x will make your car more aerodynamic with maybe 20 tons of added downforce ;)

Working heaters for the win!
Asi I said in another thread. It's getting through Denver that's going to be the pad part of the weekend. At least for those members in denver and further north.
the good news report (according to my trick knee and pet cricket). it is currently blizzard conditions here in monument (just north of the academy). it will continue in this fashion through the evening and tomorrow. this will be the only storm to blow through leaving us a sunny friday and weekend. :)

Oh well, I think we'll have a decent chance at good weather on Saturday and probably some good track time on Sunday as well.

The biggest thing for me is that I-25 through denver in to the springs and pueblo is dry. At least for right now. I'm heading up in about an hour. It may start spitting by then but I'm pretty sure I'm only going to encounter wet roads.
This makes my SO happy.

Yeah, we're not planning to leave until 6, so I'm a little worried. Oh well, just put some new all season tires on so hopefully that helps.

Ya know even then I don't know if you'll have to worry too much. They are aonly calling for about an inch of accumulation by 7:00.
I don't think anything much south of Denver will get any acumulations so hopefully monument pass will be all right for you.
I'm off work in 15 minutes and should be heading out in the next 30-45 minutes. I'll see you all down there!
Everyone drive safe.

A big "Thank You" to Ker's pet cricket who correctly guessed the weather!!!
It was damn cold and a few flakes of sn*w fell both days, but in general it was a great day for the track. I know the WRX likes the cold weather ;).
I was VERY windy on Sunday and we lost about 4 porta-potties. I don't believe anybody was in them at the time . We also had 3 waving yellows in T9 for trash cans which decided to cross the track. We will talk to PMI about making that a little more secure....
I guess the trip to/from was the big weather issue. I know our caravan was crawling along hiway 83 last night at about 40mph. I hope everybody had an uneventful trip home.
