Theres plenty more where that came from. I've just got to sit down and make a list of who needs what and get to editing. Sorting through 2200 photos and editing them all should be REALLY fun. :eek:

In which i'll comment on. Clayton, Your car was LITERALLY going so fast through some corners I had to compensate by using a 1/125 or 1/160th shutterspeed. To get rather good pans on the car. Everyone else was around a 1/60th or 1/80th which is HALF as slow as the ones needed for yours. I will say man....you drive that thing like you stole it.

It's a Canon EOS-350D AKA Canon EOS-Digital Rebel XT. The lens used for this weekend was the Canon 70-200mm f2.8L. I got it JUST in time for the event. I'm using most of the money to pay the damn thing off. It's not cheap....$1600. I need to get rid of some of these expensive "hobbies" i've got :(

I was there ALL day on saturday and most of the day sunday. I moved around quite a bit. I was usually hanging around weston and his white integra and 2 black Civic Si's.

On saturday I started at Corner 6, then to 4, then to 2, then to 7.

Sunday I started at Corner 8, then to corner 10, then to the front straight.

It's good to chat with the photographers and see how things are going with them and help out a bit. I may be young but i've been photographing for quite some time.

Are you by chance going to cover any more events? SCCA, NASA etc?

Haha, You've caught the L fever too eh? I'm slowly becoming the "prime" minister. Currently right now i'm shooting with the 350D. To me it performs as good if not better than the 20D. Later this summer i'll be picking up a 5D or a 1Ds Mark II.

Mostly I do automotive but i'm spanning my way into sports. Hopefully this summer I can catch some baseball/rugby/lacrosse. Should be pretty fun. Post the links to all your work...i'd like to take a look at it.

Damn! I wish I would have known that. I just don't like stickers on the car (prefer magnets), otherwise I would plaster them on there for the races. It would have been nice to be mentioned/pictured in Grassroots as FTD!

That L lens is nice, I have an older 70-200 L, but I killed my 300d last year, FYI they don't do well with water. No weather sealing at all on the Rebels. I think I will wait for another year or so before replacing it, just going to stick with a P&S for digital for a while.
