does anyone know of anywhere in col. springs or denver that carries snell rated auto helmets? a buddy is lookn for a new helmet but he doesnt know where to go to try stuff on.

youmight try on track performance. i get equipment there and they are racers. but not sure if they have helmets.

It's kind of an odd place to look, but go to a bike shop that sells crotch rockets. There will be Snell rated helmets there.

I got my full faced helmet at the motorcycle dealer off of arapahoe road.

a bike shop may only have m rated helmets rather than s rated. if all you will do is open track/hpde this may suffice. however, if you plan to race the s rated is the only acceptable one.

I have a large black snell 2005 Gforce. it did not fit me so i was going to send it back. I will bring it with me if anyone wants it .... it was $260 ish

When I was looking for a helmet a few weeks ago I was told at a motorcycle shop that the helmets were not rated for car road racing :confused: I found AAI in Arvada :D they had maybe 15 or so helmets instock:

AAI is a great shop. Another option to consider for SA-rated helmets is Morton's Motorsports (AKA Peterson Fluid Systems) in Commerce City:
