For everyone that worked the PMI event, I would just like to say thanks for a safe and awesome time on Saturday.

I hope everything was well on Sunday! I had family commitments so I could not make it.

Everyone did a great job! All the instructors were very helpful and friendly! All the organizers did an excellent job of keeping everything to schedule with a huge participation! Thanks for the great BBQ at the end too!

This was my first road racing event and I will be back. That is for sure. I am a drag racer that has seen the light!

Also, let me know if you have any pics of my car. #097 white Fox Saleen Mustang.

Thanks again to EVERYONE!!! Rich.

Very well said Rich.

I have to say that this event far exceeded what I had hoped for. I have to sincerely thank my instructor Scott Lockhart (I hope I spelled that correctly) for being an outstanding teacher. We were really able to turn it on in the final two sessions and it felt so good to be in tune with the car. The final session we started to see the limits of the car with it's current set of tires on it.

He really helped me get over the fear of entering turn 1 off that huge front straight as well.

I really have to say that everyone put on such a great event. Well run and loads of fun on top of that. The honest to god only complaint I had on the event was beeing passed into turn 1 by a Corvette trying to go balls out.

Though even that can be counted as a learning experiance. Situational awareness, am I right?

Again, thanks so much to everyone.

Yes, big thanks to everyone that make this event happen and go so well! I had lot of fun in Time Trials... I really enjoyed the SCCA TT program, but I'm a big fan of the NASA program's classing and the ability to pass anywhere that's reasonable (combined with drivers that are paying attention). I know the HPDE 1 and 2 guys had a great time too.

After working grid most of the weekend and a short stint at the gate on Sunday, I really wanted to thank the corner workers for their hard work - they did exceptionally well and didn't complain about a thing. They endured a lot on Sunday with all of the cold windy conditions out there. I felt a little guilty that I had a small shack to step into at the gate when the wind kicked up, while the corner 8 worker was forced to freeze his butt off the whole time. I think we might want to have gloves and ski masks available for corner workers at the next winter event :)

Hats off to all the workers. Without you guys, the events wouldn't happen.

It's good to see that there are people like yourself out there watching out for others.

Had I not seen the car coming up wide right in my rear-view mirror, it could have been a very bad ending for the both of us.

Still fun though, and those are the types of situations you get in to as you progress so obviosuly it can't be completely discounted, as I stated previously.

I wish I would have been there sunday too!

Added to the list of equipment.... Sunscreen and baseball caps are on the list for the remainder of our events!!!!

Driver with older nomex gloves who would like to donate them, please let me know. If it's got a hole in them you can no longer race in them, but they work great for the course officials.

I'm glad you guys appreciate the course officials. I'm pretty sure I saw lots of waves on the cool down laps and applauding them at the final download session on Sunday was a true act of class.

Yes, thanks to all.:) Thanks to my instructor Bill Darling. The event exceeded my expectations:cool: ; I’m going to recommend it to everyone.

This was my first track event of any kind, and I was very pleased with the way the whole event was run.

Wonderfull! I can't think of enough adjectives. Event exceeded my expectations. Got lots of seat time, wore me out, but not exhausted. Great people, great organizations. I'm hooked.

And who was that lovely lady cooking burgers? I may ask her for a date. ;)

My instructor for both days was Kasim. Buddy, if you're reading this, I can't thank you enough. I know I scared the poo out of ya the first few laps (me too). But you stuck with it anyway. And in an open car! I felt pretty good Sunday afternoon. I need a lot more practice, and I can't wait to get out there again. Without your help, I would have struggled for days trying to figure out that track.

I'll most likely be attending the La Junta event. If so, I'll look for you.
