How does the day after the party work for a build (party) ?
#24 needs a clutch and a fuel rail.
Maybe finish up Gary's car for cage work ???
I will be working on cars after lunch so everyone is invited. if we get enough people we can have a few guests stop by as well .
Anyone anyone ... Bueller ?

Sorry I can't join another build party. It sounds like you guys have too much fun. I can offer a build and ski/snowmobile weekend in the mountains. You only need is transportation here and ski equipment. I have the beer, sleds and a 944 that needs finishing. Anybody interested just let me know. Best powder in years!

Again!?
Yes, again!!! I was there and watched it happen. We always walk the ice to check for holes and there was a lot of snow on the ice that time. Dave was about 200 yards from me and I saw him drop and almost disappear. I thought he just slipped, but then I saw him push up and then roll away from where he was. By the time I got to him he was up and moving but was completely soaked form the stomach down. After that we cancelled the class for safety reasons. Definitely a close call!

The snow is great! We have a spare room you can stay in, 30 mi. from 5 ski resorts. Aspen, Aspen Higlands, Buttermilk, Snowmass and Sunlight. Have a huge snowmobile area 5 mi. from our house and an extra sled.
The engine is 3/4 rebuilt. have the external stuff to put on and of course the front belts and timing, re-install and front end suspension to re-install.:D

Yeah, it wouldn't be good if you had students falling through the ice at a 'safety' school. Hope you have better luck this year; something tells me that Dave won't be the first one out to check the ice this time, though! ;)

I'll make sure and pick up some of that, but isn't there some kind of rule that you're supposed to drink German beer when working on German cars?

I can show for a couple of hours on Sunday afternoon but I won't have my spec car w/me. I'm looking forward to meetin' yous and seeing some cars dressed for sport. I'll need all the pointers you folks can offer. I'll need directions, too.

When do you think the next build is? Seems like all the current 944's are spoken for, I need to find a car to build ASAP!

If you can't find a 944 in Colorado, you're not looking hard enough. :D
Back in the 80s all the young posers had them. Now that all those original owners are all middle to post-middle aged and have moved on to more expensive hardware, all those forgotten and uncared for 944s are showing up for cheap Mustang/Camaro-like prices.

If you're willing to travel a little, I found this in Nebraska.
