Will you???
I'm asking this because I'm working on becoming our Regional PT Director and to see who is at least interested so that I can start working with them to get them started.
If there are any questions just send an email.

PTB will be on the track the same time AI/CMC will be ...most of the time .
Maybe at Miller they will be 2 different sessions.

I might be interested John. Looks like I'd be in PTE.

Well what I need you to do is fill out a classification sheet for authorizing your classification. But first I think we should work on getting your Provisional license.

Chuck is absolutely correct Fred. If you can get in on the comp school and get the OK, we'll slap a big "R" on your car and you'll be our first PT series driver. To elaborate more on this, going the route of completing the HPDE program is just one path to get to the point of getting your provisional while taking the comp school is a faster way.
And before Cody chimes in, our first PT driver at the nationals. Fred can be our first at our events.

Okay, okay. The perivial foot has been put in my mouth. I'll leave it there.
I have a couple of ideas for our PT series but I need to get 5 or more cars competing regularly in any particular class. I want to see about getting either the PTE or PTC classes going, being that the majority of cars I see on other forums and on the street would fit in those 2.

Sounds like you've got some good ideas to help get more people into NASA and on the track, stick with it!

Thanks for stepping up to the plate John!!!! You know we wouldn't give you crap if we didn't love you to death. :D
Yes, John has some great ideas on the table as well as a possible sponsor for PT this season.

I'm considering debuting my 350Z T2 class racer at Pueblo in March. Although it is built to fit the SCCA T2 rules package, it should also fit in either PTC or PTB, depending on how it's prepped. I currently hold comp licenses in both organizations and have a goal of qualifying for both the NASA Nationals at M-O and the Runoffs in Topeka this year!

The goal is to get enough racers in classes to start collecting contingencies and depending on how many participants are competing on a regular basis I can start steamrolling for sponsers.
I believe PT can be just as competetive and thrilling to watching as much as the cakers and draggers are. Prepare for a 3-ring onslaught!

Hey John, I've been thinking about the possibility of building up a PT car for 2009. It really all depends on money though. Finances are tight. But I'd raise my hand to at least say there's a chance for me.

That is good to hear Chris. Just keep me up to date on what you're planning on running so we can get you classified. Oh, and be aware of possible rule changes mid-season of '08.

It would likely be a 95-99 turbo DSM.
