My wife and I had agreed previously that MMP was a bit too much of a trek to make this year. However, after talking with her about how the Pueblo event went, she actually asked if it would be possible for me to try and take the time off from work, drive out to Denver, fly out to SLC, rent a car, and do the MMP event.

Did someone steal my wife and replace her with someone else when I wasn't looking this past weekend? I thought at least the girls would have noticed?

Now I'm chekcing on airfare, rental cars, hotel rooms, and looking at my work schedule. :cool:

HAHA it could be like the old GT350 H Shelby Mustangs. Rent a Mustang from Hertz and go race it!!! Brilliant!


I'm with you though. I had originally said MMP was going to be too expensive. NOw I'm contemplating that...

scott, i'm sure it was your sweet talk'n way (or your wife, like mine, recognizes how much fun you have and wouldn't want to deprive you of any). :)

MMP bought a handfull of ex-Bondaurant Mustangs for their school. I will ask them if they will be available for rent over the weekend....

That would be awsome. Do you know if they're the old 5.0 powered mustangs or the 4.6 powered SN95's?

Now you've done it. If that's the case, you now have me at an 85% positive committal for the event. Please get a rental cost. I'm calling dibs on one of them.

They did when I was at Bondurant in 2000. I got to ride in a Cobra for a good 30 minutes! :)
