i assume those with rv's can stay at the track? will there be hook-ups?
Yes. RV Camping in the padoock is permitted at the track. The fee is $25/night and includes electrical hookup. There are approximatly 45 hookups in the paddock.

Will there be an "approved" hotel where most of us will try to stay?
Best Western Inn Tooele
365 N Main Street
Tooele, Utah

Fax: 435-882-5746
If you reserve online you can select the "Race Fan Rate". I've been told that the room rates would be going up April 1st by $5.00 per night.

Given that there are other races during that same weekend, how much track time will HDPE regietered folks see? I welcome the other racers, but want to also make sure that we "get our money's worth" in terms of number of sessions per day on the track. I like to watch other car go 'round, but really prefer to be out there doing it myself :)

Good question. In January Dave answered as follows:

Yes it will be the full course on all three days.
For a huge track like Miller, the total number of cars isn't the limiting factor, but it is the # of run groups (2 or 3 HPDE groups and 4 race groups). We are still playing with the schedule to make it fit. For HPDE session the NASA minimum standard is four 20 minute sessions each day.
Maybe Dave has an update on the schedule as we are getting closer to the event.

Chapman BMW will be providing tire service at the May MMP event. They stock all sizes of RA1s as well as other brands.
Contact Bryan NOW if you would like to pre order tires for May. They can have them at the track, shaved and ready to mount on Friday the 19th.

What kind of fuel will be available at the track?
I need 108 (or better) leaded.
I just saw confirmation that the blends of gas are:
85, 91, MS93, MS98, MS100, MS110, C12, U4
Credit cards are taken 24 hours a day. You can pay cash for a "gas card" at the pro shop during daylight hours.
Be forewarned, I heard that the gas prices at the track are not cheap...

I just called Miller to get the current fuel prices, since I heard some of the WC teams were paying upwards of $9/gallon. The lady I talked with was rather clueless about what was leaded and unleaded, so take this with a little room for error, but here are the prices per gallon....
91 @ $3.09
93 @ $7.20
98 @ $7.20
101 @ 6.75
Those prices are pretty high. I want to run 93 in my car so it looks like I will be bringing my own fuel with me. :( If anyone else wants to check on fuel prices for other types, call 801-563-4250.

where are you getting your 93 from? Is there anywhere else around that it can be bought from?

I just bought some here in Denver (Perto Stop on S. Parker Road, just south of Hampden) and paid $2.95/gallon. So, I got 35 gallons and I should be set for the weekend. :D Not sure where else to buy it as CO, WY, and UT are all 85/87/91 at the pump.
