I have my here and can not figure where to put it. It would be a tight fit, if it fits at all, under the hood and it would be too close the exhaust headers so.... as anyone seen where people have put them in a 944? I am thinking about the in the floor well on the passenger side but I am not that excited about three quarts of oil inside the car!!

Most CMC guys mount them inside the car too. You can insulate them incase you have a leak. I don't think it is much different than having antifreeze inside the car. Specialy in a pressure vessel. I assume you are using braided line right?

If you mount it inside the car, you could place it inside of an aluminum box, or under a cover. If you have a catastrophic failure, or trauma, the oil would be contained. You could also drill holes in the floor so the oil would have a place to go.

I have seen one mounted in the cowl area behind the firewall. It was a 924S and I belive itwas in space above the driver's foot well under the hood.

yeah, id be a little worried about having hot oil in the cabin without a cover. What smells like fried chicken?
