I was wondering if it would be possible to make forums based on our locations so that we could maybe set non-track dates up for people to get together to chat and/or help each other working on our cars.
So I also thought that a poll for a yes or no would help make the decision to add them.

You could just join CoRacing.com?
My personal opinion is that this board should be NASA or open track related discussion.

Agree that this should be NASA-only. There are plenty of other car-related forums in the area.

This would be for NASA members. I was mainly implying that NASA members might get together and help each other out strictly for NASA events. I don't know of anyone in my area that is a member. Granted this is the closest thing I have to discussing anything with other members.
So I guess you all can forget about this discussion then.
Oh, I have been registered on coracing.com and it really isn't for me. I even told people in the pueblo forum to come out and not one of them showed up. Was I the only one from pueblo that showed up for the March 11 and 12 event? It sure did seem like it. Lets just say that I'm looking for people to have real conversations with. Maybe my nickname will be "Lost Puppy".

I would rather have a "for sale" forum here.
Unless someone can point me to a decent one local. The current Stang forums are mostly drag racing neandarthols. :)

I voted No because there might be some events that I would be willing to drive further for, and if there are too many sub-forums it is difficult to check them all.
cheers,

Click "new posts" at the top of the screen and you will see every new post including new topics since the last time you visited. You will not have to search all of the forums to see any new activity.

If you're looking for a discussion on a particular NASA venue or type of car, there are a few national forums that offer a large experience base. If you're looking for some local help wrenching on your car, do your best to network with like minded individuals in any way you can. Not every car guy is computer savy, so besides networking on different forums, you may also try going to local car shows, cruises, drive ins, talking to the service folks at car dealerships, or even stopping to talk to somebody in a parking lot or while their washing their car in their driveway.

Well I tried and I hope someone will delete this thread, hint hint. And unfortunately I live in pueblo, as previously stated, and to find people here interested in doing this kind of stuff is hard. I practically breathe NASA when I'm talking to people and I do go to some events but they are 99.999% show and no go, except street nite drags and such.

I think Location Based Forums would Be awesome, Why not have them. In my opinion There cant be toomany forums, If people have Questions then they need to be answered.
If people dont help people than Nasa Rocky Mountain Will never work.
I live in the springs and would love to help people with there cars. I would even drive to pueblo, I would also like to meet and hang out with fellow NASA members or go to other races on OFF weekends

I totally Understand I dont Have One friend that's into racing, all my other friends think im wasting my time and money. There Dumb They think lifes all about Getting Drunk every night.
Once again I think it would be Great
to have location forums.
I'll tell you why, If we could talk to only our city We could Help eachother out. For Example What if Someone needs a Roll Bar welded in, they ask one of there City Neighboors for help. What if some one needs an engine built, they ask one of there city neighboors. This would Greatly reduce the price for everybody If everybody helps everybody. In reducing the price more people would participate
Next We could Areange Carpools to races or joint tows(Especialy to the nationals)
Yeah They Could Pay for all of that but why pay if you dont have to, and if they dont have to pay for it they can buy something else for there car
