A dyno on the 10th is a little soon, but I might be able to make it work. The dyno at TC Performance is certainly more accurate and repeatable, but I'm kind of leaning towards a DynoJet so that we can compare our numbers with 944's in other regions.

Well guys, not sure if we're doing the dyno day or not, but I'm going to need some help with my car. I have been holding off on working on it because supposedly I was going to get a good deal on parts (from a shop I order parts from occasionally), but turns out the guy totally flaked out on me and never ordered parts. So I will probably be picking up parts from dart this coming week. All the suspension needs to be done, including front coilovers, t-bar, sway bars, and bushings. Chris and I may work on it this week, but I could use all the help I can get. I'm considering rebuilding the shifter as well, since it's kind of sloppy. It's a late model car, so I'll have to get koni inserts for it instead of the actual housing. Any of you guys ever done strut inserts?

Inserts are easy. I wondered the same thing. Just unscrew the top cap, pull out, replace strut, spacer, screw cap back on and done.
Wish I could, but probably will not be able to make dyno/build day.

Guys, I need to go to a friend's graduation party on the 10th, so I won't be able to make it to the build party.
However, Patrick (he'll be posting an intro on the board shortly) is planning to bring his '83 944 to the shop next week for a cage. He'll need help removing his dash. Maybe we can figure out how to work his car into the party for a dash removal?

I might need to find some scales to see what I'm weighing. I know the Heater Core and attached crap + firewall insulation took off about 30 lbs. I also lost the Cat and Muffler.

I sure am! I noticed a little leak this morning... looks like brake fluid so I bet it's from the Clutch Master Cyl that was replaced. I've gotta look at that, then I have new Front Wheel Bearings to put in. Aside from those two little things I'm ready to go!

ok looks like a few cars still need time to do other things so we will have the standard build party at my house.
we will do the dyno day asap.

I'd like to get Patrick's car over there to see if y'all can help him to remove the dash (assuming he makes it to the build party; I told him about it). I plan to do some prep work on it before Saturday, but since I'd need to drive it over, I can't remove the windshield or get too far into the cage until the dash is out. Any volunteers to help Patrick with the dash? :)

Yep, Becca and I will be at the race and ready to go. Just doing some last minute tweaks. HPDE 2 had better watch out, shes getting excited about driving the 944 instead of our daily driver so she can push it a little harder.
