Well I did not see anyone start this so here goes...
for those of us leaving on the 18th how about we start a caravan. I thinking we meet kind of up north of denver maybe just past ERIE (on I-25) at the new truck stop. depart the truck stop around 9:00am (ish) anytime in the am is good for me but 9:00 would let others from down south join in. keep in touch with frs radios/cellphones. I won't be setting any speed records with gas at 3.00+ per gallon.

so who's in ? what are you driving/pulling ? any extra needs ?

Kind of like this

I'm in Chuck Taylor + wife (Jen) + 3 kids.
Driving a E-350 (Ford 1 ton Van with a V10) towing a 36' enclosed trailer. special needs ... 3 kids so might need to make an extra rest stop. towing speed (55 mph).

sound good ?

I'd be in, but I can't drive 55! ;) Really, my truck pulls much better at 65, but I'll try to hang for a little while.

Rick + Joy (girlfriend)
F250 + 18" open trailer w/ one car
No special needs that I can think of right now

Revkah and I *plan* to leave Wednesday night so we can be at the track to start setting up Thursday afternoon. We'll save everyone a parking space !!!

If I can get my car together and go to MMP I will start with you guys but my rig likes 80-85mph(or 10 over the posted) so anyone wanting to pull with the freight train is welcome to follow.

PS If i go there is a good chance that i will be able to procure a 2 place and would be able to take someones car for the price of fuel..............about half the cost of having Kyle pull your rig.

Reminds me of the Stonehenge stage prop in the movie This is Spinal Tap... they wanted an 18' model of Stonehenge and wound up with a 18" model... but I digress...

great timing Rick i told Jen "they hijacked my thread" then i read your post....

as for speed it's all good. If we know who is going we can still look out for each other ... I could also leave 35 minutes early and just plan on yall catching up half way.

speed kills... at the gas pump.
arrive with beer money ... drive 55
