Not going to happen.

and that's why I'm saying the heck with NASA and just going across the pond to race in GT3...forget this!! ;)

In all seriousness, I figured it was a pretty long shot, but on the plus side it means we have LOTS of time to work on the 'bird without having to put it together halfway through.

Phil,

I checked both sets up hand written tapes and only show you with the 7 laps and that matches with the 7 laps shown by the T&S computer.

Anybody got video tape that was running with Phil that can show he got more laps than 7? Come on - help a guy out.

it's not a big deal. it just seemed weird that he was three laps more than me and made it to tech and was out walking around by the time I got there. no points changes or anything like that - just messed with my feng shui.

Just like you messed with a little bunny's feng shui. :D

You're in the gray/silver 944 with blue wheels, #85 right?

...

Backtrack to Sunday's warmup session. I was in the white Fox Mustang. You were about 1/2 the front straight infront of me when I exited T10. I noticed something fall off your rear bumper about 50 feet past the traps. Thought it was a dirt ball or something, you looked like you went farming at some point earlier. Anyway, next lap I looked close at the dirt ball, it was a decapitated bunny.

I think the varmint was a originally a prairie dog. It tried to get itself run over by my car, but when I missed it, it jumped in front of Ken Rockwell - who did the dirty deed. :D

I had a rabbit run across right as I entered turn 1. That was startling, driving Beth's car!!

You'd think animals would REALLY not want to get near cars that loud!!

Helping this thread off-track...
During HPDE 3 in May, someone ran over a rattlesnake entering Turn Nine.

I was several cars behind, and believe me, it got my attention when the snake was FLIPPED UP INTO THE AIR !

Less than a cone mark for most of you, but I'm in an open cockpit car!

Try explaining that one - "Uh, yes, I was on a racetrack, in a car. Uh, yes, the rattlesnake bit me. In the chest. Yeah, it was dead. No, I don't really want to talk about. Yes, it hurts."

Maybe what looks like front spoilers are really little "critter shovels" ??

Well, as long as it bites you in the chest and not the, uh, cojones, it won't be all that hard to explain.

I took out a coiled rattler between 9 and 10 at PMI two years ago. It made kind of a Ka-thunk as my front lip decapitated the poor little devil ! It was on a day that we also had 55 gal. barrels rolling across that section too. It was kind of like a windy video game
