When will the event schedule be posted ?

I am looking forward to running at Hastings for the first time, but before i register (and pay) for both days, i want to be sure that my run group (HPDE-3) will be running both days.

Thanks,
_ Garrett

Dave typicaly post up the schedule 2 weeks or so before the event.

I ran HPDE3 last year and we got 4 sessions on Saturday and 5 on Sunday!! It was a great weekend!

Oh man, that would be great, however, you've just set the bar ! Hopefully those sessions weren't only 5 minutes long.

Each HPDE session is typically 20 minutes long, so you'll get plenty of track time each day.

Not at all! ;)

They were full 20 minute sessions. I think the 5th session on Sunday was with HPDE4 IIRC.

That is fantastic news.

I'll be there for sure... just hope i can find the 91 octane (re: pump gas thread)... i guess Hastings is not the destination of choice for newer European automobiles.

It makes me wonder, how the HP classes are getting more seat time than at Miller, when Miller was a far larger course (can fit more cars on at once).

Are we expecting that few entrants or just less 'classes' than Miller ?

I run 91 and had no problem finding it at Hastings last year. There's a station near the track that had it.

Yep, station right down the road from the track.

However, be careful on your drive to Hastings. Depending on the route you take, there are lots of places that have three grades of fuel: 87 unleaded, clear diesel, and dyed diesel.....

If you stick to the interstates (I-80), you should be fine.

Also, isn't it NASA National policy that HPDE's consist of at least 4 20 minutes sessions each day (or the equivalent)?

Will there be an open track day at Hastings on Friday?
