What are the RV camping features like at PPIR? Hookups? Infield paddock?
Thanks!

We are still getting more info on the electircal hookups. In the past we have had 50 and 30 hookups, jjst need to make sure they are functioning.

I heard today that thieves broke open the walls in the restrooms at PPIR to steal the copper piping. I hope that kind of damage is not pervasive.
I think the metal recyclers need to start checling ID's like the pawn shops do. "Oh, you want to recycle 8,000 feet of Armco - no problem."

Dang, that's the first I've heard of it here. When we went home for the 4th of July, it'd been out of control in Ohio...

The showers and bathrooms in the paddock are ready to to go. AFAICT, there was nothing stolen from inside the facility.
Camping will be fine. Not a lot of easily accessable soft dirt or grass but lots of pavement.
There was some electrical stuff "dismantled" outside the paddock behind the grandstands, but the dorks were caught in the act and are doing a bunch of years behind bars.

That's putting it mildly. :-)
The bright side is that it looks like the drainage is pretty good. The ground may be hard, but won't be soggy...

I saw where someone asked about camping at the track. Will this be allowed, if so, I'm hoping to sleep in my truck over Sat/Sun nights.

Paul - No problem sleeping at the track.
Those sleeping in tents, just be aware they have found some good size rattle snakes.

And with the cool nights they may want to come in and get warm...

Ok.
The RV electrical hookups have been verified and they are working.
These are 50A plugs, so make sure to have the proper adapter/etc you'll need.
They are $50 for the weekend and you can reserve with us and then pay the track when you get there.
We have a limited # and I believe there are 30 hookups. PM me or email me to reserve one.
Right now I have:
Ian Cole
Scott Koerner
Raybob Coleman
Mark Quevli
