Crew Access and Appearance
As we grow in size and more race teams come into our series, we need to make a few changes.
In order to make sure proper access is granted to the pit lane for timing, signaling, tire pressures, etc anyone "over the fence" during race sessions in pit lane will be required to be in team uniform.
What is a Team Uniform?
Any matching shirt that associates you to the car. A shirt of similar color to the car could be used. Or any color with the car # or team name on it.
It can be any shirt you like. A $5 T-shirt would work. A $100 professional shirt would work.
We've done $10 polo shirts from Walmart with a $5 silk screen. Simple, effective and inexpensive.

You could do something pre-done such as this... and add your car # to it.

In my infirmed state and general bad attitude
thats the stupidest thing I have ever heard.............how about a wrist band seems to have worked in the past.
This is not professional racing and no one really cares if you look like a team or not. If you want to go for it but leave the rest of us alone.
Besides since when do sprint races of 20 min. require crew to check tire pressures et.al during a session. you can do that during impound.
Please leave the masses alone and we will leave the "professionals" to play their game and wear their uniforms.

Thanks for speaking for all of us, but in the future, please don't. I personally like the idea and will be participating. If you don't have anyone going over the wall then you don't have to play along, but if we happen to have an enduro during the year (which I'm hoping to see, hint, hint), crew may be necessary.

My niece made a team shirt...orange with black Incidental Contact writing on the front. She's also gonna have pom-poms...does that count?
She and my other niece may be my tire pressure checkers and windshield cleaners.
official nasa staff shirts are appropriate attire (i.e. group leaders and the new instructor shirts that are coming this year)

I am not speaking for all of us just myself and a few other who might feel that way.
Our team shirt will be a wife beater with the obligatory pit stains and dried puke on the front from the night before....................will that work(cannot gaurantee puke will match between members of the team)
do what ever you want just do not mandate some rule that keeps some out while catering to others.
