HPDE Information

HPDE/TT Pricing
1 day - $175
2 day - $285
Transponder - $50/weekend

HPDE GENERAL NOTICE-
If you do not see the HPDE Group that you want, it means that it's full. Please Click Here to get on the waiting list.

HPDE 1:
HPDE1 is where it all starts. If you’ve never been on track before or would like to be guaranteed an instructor, sign up for HPDE1. We do not rent transponders for HPDE1.

HPDE 2:
HPDE 2 is for drivers that have been signed off to drive on their own, but just want more time at HPDE 1 speeds and skill level. So, Group 2 is Group 1 (and runs with Group 1), but they have no instructor assignment. We do not rent transponders for HPDE2. Please see this notice before signing up HPDE2 Notes

HPDE 3:
Saturday will slowly work up to additional passing by the end of the day. Sunday will be a continuation, starting with limited passing everywhere in the first session and then very quickly picking up the pace in the subsequent sessions. This should better prepare drivers for Group 4. Sunday only entries should be aware of this. Please see this notice before signing up HPDE3 Notes

HPDE 4:
Only advanced drivers with open passing skills are permitted in HPDE4. All HPDE4 drivers who are new to NASA must be pre-approved by the HPDE4 Group Leader or Chief Instructor before being allowed to drive in HPDE4.

TT Information

Time Trials:
TT is combined with HPDE4 and has open passing. You must possess a NASA TT license to be in this class. If you need to apply for a license, do it now.

Honestly don't wait too long. Esp for HPDE3 which seems to have a large draw for this event.

Thanks for the reminder.
Can you post an updated registration count/limit for each class periodically.

Entry list is updated every few days. I don't have the total count yet for HPR, but I expect the HPDE3 limit to be 30 something cars.

I really want to go this day, but I'm waiting to make sure I can get the day off. How fast is HPDE 1 filling (this will be my first NASA event)? Also, to do just one day, can it be either day? Thanks!

you can do any one day or both days. the hpde 1 group is typically limited by two things - 1. the size of the track/safe passing zones, and 2. the number of instructors we have signed up for a particular event.

at this point it is difficult to estimate either one of these. we have not had an opportunity for our group leaders or instructors to run the track to determine item 1 and it's too early to know how many instructors will be available.

best advice - sign up early so you don't get surprised when the system says it's full.

Can I register as HPDE 2 if I'm driving the 72 Nova instead of the 05 STi that I drove last year?

I just found out I have the 19th off! If I were to sign up for just that day and then later find out I can get the 18th off as well, can I 'upgrade' to both days if there's still open spots? Thanks and sorry for all the questions. :)

It's better to sign up for both, guarantee the spot and then give up a day. It pretty definite that all of the HPDE1/2 spots will be filled.
