I'm scrambling to get my car back together to do this. Wont have my rear bushings replaced yet, but I should at least have the engine and body work together...
Today's project is figuring out which shade of red my car really is... It's not Guards Red, Victory Red, Cardinal Red, Bright Red, or Super Red II. I guess I'll just get these fenders as close as I can...

Hmmm, you and me both!
He!!, I'm undesirable most of the time anyway. If I was on the front range I'd be all over it.

I used SUV red from NAPA in a rattle can, not too bad of a match, then call it whatever you want...sporty uber velocity?

I thought your car was Duct Tape Red? :)
Have you checked the paint code chart at Clark's Garage, or was your car sprayed at some point?

It was repainted with some unknown non-factory red. Oh well, this is going to be a rattle-can job for now anyway, so I suppose it doesn't matter too much. Beats duct tape over bondo that's falling off.

I think that's actually what I painted my front bumper with last year and it seemed to match pretty well. :D

Actually it was more like, "My brakes suck. My clutch is shot. I'm worried about my rod bearings. My steering is mushy. Blah, blah, blah, blah...."
Talk about picky!!

6 at a time ... ? yeah, and no more than 8 minutes at a time. I guess you get what you pay for.....
....now, nobody can spin a rod bearing in under eight minutes, can they ? Oh yeah, Gateway :o :D
Weston

The price is definitely great, but considering the small amount of track time, I don't think it makes sense for me to haul everything down there for the day. I think that day will be better spent at home where it's easier to work on stuff, and I'll just use the highway for test drives...

They are long sessions though. You'll get more than a few minutes on track.

Yeah. It would be a good opportunity to play with my new Traqmate, but I have higher priorities on my To-Do list that will probably require more than 2 test drives.

Important!!!!!!
From the RaceCO promoters:
"to make a long story short, we have bought our own insurance for tomorrow and can put as many cars on the track as we want.
thus, dont know where NASA folks are at, but if the porsche folks still had some interest there will be up to 3 1/2 hours worth of track time available for them tomorrow, weather permitting. i know its late but this just all came about this afternoon."
