I was out there on Sunday and I saw a couple of guys taking pics but I never got the chance to get any info from them. Does anyone know who they are and where those pics might be?

I'd like to say that I snuck inside Tommy going into turn 1, but...

Nice pics by those folks.

It was my understanding that a lot of 944-Spec people weren't running video this weekend, but I do have video and Traqmate data from my car for both days... I just have to find some time to mess with it. I already know that my front camera is a little out of focus... it turns out that the focus switch got bumped and was set for super-close, so it focused on my windshield really nice, but the track not as much. It looked alright for Saturday in the rain, but Sunday is slightly blurry.

I do know that I have some nice rear video of me losing my brakes in turn 8 and flinging mud all over Dave Wright's car though... :D

Heres a video...its not NASA Rocky Mountain but it is NASA from this past weekend and involves much more rain then what we had.

Hope the rig pulling the boarder has his intake blocked off, I'd hate for him to have to replace his motor do to the ingest of water :D

I've got video, I just need to chop it down, then I'll post some links. There's some great offs, spins, and failed attempted passes (only one) in 8 by an overly eager 911 ;)

Would that be the near incident in the corkscrew? My butt puckered watching it unfold!

I agree - great pics.

I have video from Sunday, and I'll get it uploaded and work with Weston to get it linked on the 944 site later this week. I've also got Traqmate data - this was my first weekend with the Traqmate, but I'm already amazed at what I've learned from just 15 minutes of looking at the data so far.

We had a few "pucker" moments through the corkscrew...2.5 wide through that sequence with all the dirt on the outside of 15 was, well, intense.

The failed attempted pass was in the sharp left hander #8, following the big right-hand uphill sweeper. It was a hoot! I saw that Quigley was going to attempt to pass inside, and I was already deep and braking hard, so I knew he wasn't going to make it. I waited until the last moment, and turned in just as he blew right by me, going way wide.

Mine too. Most of my Traqmate lap times were super close to the official transponder times, and one was only 0.001 seconds different. And that's with me just setting the start/finish position as I blew past it doing 80. Now that I've had the time to understand the theoretical best lap feature, it should be pretty useful to look at when I'm at the track.

I also got the TraqData II adapter and logged a few other things like coolant temp, oil pressure, brake pedal, and AFM output (looks like I tapped the wrong wire for that one though).

I need waders to get through the mud... add that to my shopping list.

Does anyone know who they are and where those pics might be?
Hi everyone; that would be myself. Sorry it took me a bit to get on here.
Thanks go out to Ian and David for directing me on here.

Correct! I snag about 400+ images from Sunday before getting completely sun-scorched.
Attached below is the complete shot list with cooresponding car numbers (below; .pdf format)
Review and contact me via email (bluefox280 [at] gmail [dot] com) if you're interested in seeing proofs.
Please do provide you race class, vehicle number, and description of your vehicle; that will help me track down images.

I've unfortunately lost the video from the wet race in Saturday, but here's the heat race antics from the Sunday heat race:

It's a 64.5MB .asf MPEG-4 video.

I was kidding about the vintage, but I believe it is the oldest in HPDE 3.

Erik - The car in your avatar looks like the CSU project car; is it?
It was CSU's 2002 FSAE racecar...
During my time on campus, was an active student who kept the 'fleet' of racecars running and complete race prep.
With putting in the wrench-time, I got to be one of the active drivers to conduct driver training and car testing.
We had several including the 1998, 2000, 2004, 2006, and the 2008 design platform before I graduated in spring of 2006.

The 2002 was my favorite vehicle; Honda V-twin with a Aerocharger / intercooled; electronic shifting.
It was a kick-in-the-pants to drive!
Unfortunately, after graduation, the car was wrecked by another student in the fall of 2006.

Thanks - it was definitely a fun race with Pat (and with Cullen, Mark in the BMW, and James in the Honda before that.)

No orange marks on my side mirror, but that was the first thing I checked for after that session, as I'm sure I hit that marker! :D

Good race Gary! It was fun watching you play with the diferent lines. I need to look for orange marks also, I wacked the marker in T3 at least once. Sorry I couldn't continue on and keep playing with y'all.
Oh, and thanks for letting me borrow your hat for Saturday's race!
