AT&T works great... full signal with data coverage (EDGE).

Agreed. T-Mobile had issues. No idea on Sprint or Verizon.

AT&T mobile phone worked great for me (5 bars), but Verizon EVDO wireless broadband was a no go.

If anyone wants to switch to at&t get in touch with me. I have "deals" for NASA folk.

Correct on V. Had to travel up the road a bit to get a useable signal.

att is what I have and I have no issues.

Some others can get service at the high point in the paddock near the wall at turn 2 in the paddock. But it's spotty at best there.

Verizon had just enough signal such that your phone has to go in and out of high-battery-draining acquisition mode so your phone will drain quite quickly...

Our Verizon wireless internet worked great (we have an external 11dB gain antenna). Voice as mentioned, sucked.

as long as it was held at a 23.7 degree angle pointed true north minus 19.8 degrees with exactly 27 inches of tin foil added to the tip end and kyle holding it with one foot pointed east and the other pointed west with his tongue part way out :D

Yep, me too. And just to add insult to injury, at some point during the morning I received a text message - but when I tried to reply to it I couldn't get enough signal to send it out. :(

Sprint sucked. I got one bar occasionally, but mostly it was roaming or no service at all.
