Will we register on the RM site or the TX site?

Go to the national NASA site (also links from RM site "Event registration" can take you there) here:

https://www.nasaproracing.com/event

and scroll down to the Texas region. You'll find Hallett June 13-14.

Gah! Hate to be a negative Nancy but... $325 entry fee! +long tow + nat's this year = questionable worthiness of Hallet for me.

Ill do my best to make it happen :(

as Chuck says, "its all good"

Any discounts for instructors? I'm thinking about going - my mom lives in Wichita, which is on the way.

Yeah, I'm thinking I'm going to sit this one out. I'd love to go to Hallett, but that's a lot of cost between the entry fee and towing 1340 miles round-trip, and I don't expect all that many people from our class to be there anyway. I can't really justify that cost-to-competition ratio, and I'm not really interested in just buying season points either.

Not me this time. They opened it temporarily to let the "serious" racers register.

Nah.... something about rolling out a new Texas website. It'll be back up the week of the 13th.

I've just got to say to all the 944 guys, Hallett is a track much better suited to you than Miller. It's tight, curvy, elevation changes, and honestly would be a BLAST in a smaller (than AI/CMC) car!! Compare that to Miller where it's long straights, barely any elevation change, super-wide and sweeping turns.

If you can get to Hallett, DO IT!!!

BTW, when we were there last year, there were barely any instructors, and HPDE ran all together. Beth and I were out there in our rental mustangs alongside guys in ready-to-race cars (doing their last session before moving up to door to door). I think there were about a dozen of us total. I know Michael Mosty did a ride-a-long with Beth.

Mark, I e-mailed NASA TX to offer instructing help that weekend, as I too am interested. I received a nice reply from Jessica Reyna saying that she would forward my inquiry onto the Chief instructor. It's just been a couple of days, no word yet...

Hey Dave, cool new avatar, us skinny guys should stay out of high wind conditions though !

Try clicking on the instructor box when registration re-opens and see what happens.
