Hi - I'm a local Utah racer and wanted to inquire about the possibility of participating in this event, either TT or racing.

I understand that there has been some arrangement to allow Miller Park Racing Association (MPRA) races to count toward the races needed to qualify. Unfortunately due to my work schedule this summer I don't think I'll have more than 2 or 3 MPRA races before the event. Would I at least be able to participate in the time trial part of the event, or does that also require 5 "races"?

Cheers,

Jeff

We've set it up so that MPRA races count to help qualify if you run as a "NASA" competitor. Make sure to check the NASA box when you sign up.

For TT you need 5 TT starts for the season. Unfortunately, Miller doesn't have a TT program compatible with ours so if you want to compete in TT in September you'll need to run with a NASA region in CA or CO.

Thanks Dave. Doesn't sound like I'll be able to qualify for either then. Have fun,

Jeff

Just one more thing to verify. Is that 2 or 3 weekends or days?

Days, unfortunately. So I'll have 2-3 races with MPRA.
