Nice "package" lol

Yea, the pulling the entire "package" as one piece rocked. Once a jig is completed the rear suspension can come down at the same time as well. I took two hours and pulling the engne by it self takes 3+

Funny, I couldn't decide on a seat or harness bar height so it has 2 harness bars

I spy...

...a Mustang "from the bottom of the ocean".

LOL I was thinking the same thing..."This harness bar is too low, this harness bar is too high, but if we place a third harness bar between them, it'll be juuuust riiiight!" :)

Hey, that's a nice Mustang! The windshield is out, I just bought a nice roller 302 long block for it and I hope to get it over to the beadblaster sometime. Soon I hope.

I'm glad to see some progress being made on it. I know the previous owner to the previous owner wanted to see someone do something with it rather than let it sit in a backyard somewhere and deteriorate.

302? What are your plans for the 3.3L sixes? (That's 200ci I6 for you old timers.)

Yes, I'm turning a 944 thread into a Mustang thread.

Yes, I'm turning a 944 thread into a Mustang thread.

I think this is the first time this has happened. :)

Jen has decided that it's her car so it'll actually get worked on unlike my own projects! :) I ended up getting the 306 that Rich had mentioned in the other thread. Just couldn't resist. I don't know what I'll do with the 6s.

based on the fact that im SVO chuck i think pretty all 944 threads are in some small part mustang threads.

I don't know? I think "turbo Pinto" is a fair distance from both

I should probably add a "hehe" :p

DOH!

Sorry, the Mustang II generation preceded the foxbody generation.

I had a "Mach I hatchback coupe" kind of ! It was a Cobra II

My dad said " when something happens to the engine in it we will build a 302 for it"

THE NEXT DAY . I go out for a drive put it in 1st and hold it down till it BLOWS UP ! Then we built a 300HP 302 for it :)

mine had the aero package like CA.

super pintos are not legal in CMC or AI right ? I could put one of them ALuninimum cheby engines in it . RB would have a fit.

Oh, I believe Mustang IIs are legal as long as you follow the power to weight ratio. I know there are a few "vintage" AI cars out there in other regions.

I would most defintely rock a COBRA II or a Mach I of the Mustang II era as long as it had a V8 and manual transmission. I had a couple friends back in high school who had a 2.3L Mustang II coupe and a 2.3L Pinto. They were cheap, cheap, cheap transportation, but they were NOT cool. I've been eyeing a COBRA II in town with a 351 conversion, but the seller wants waaay too much for a car in worse shape than my Rustang.

There's one of these right down the road from us.....under a car cover (mostly)......in a field....no joke

The urge to back the trailer up to the field, fire up the winch and take it to a better life is almost overwhelming! :(

They are getting harder to find. Many a Mustang II has been parted out and junked just to donate the front end to a Hod Rod. You should go see if it's "for sale".
