I'm Gordon, I drive a black 04 Z06, #25. Joined 3 in the last session Saturday. I had a volunteer commitment yesterday I had to keep so I felt like the rude guest who left the party without even talking to the host. My car also needs some attention before running again.

Joined NASA in April. Attended my first two events at PMI in May. Was very impressed with the people, officials, and organization. Started autox 5 years ago in a Mustang, and found my way to the track with the BMW clubs driving school at PMI in Oct. of 07 a few months after buying the Vette. First time I'd been TO a track, let alone on one. Being such a noob I did it again in the spring and fall of 08. It gave me an outstanding foundation in safety and procedures, and they teach our line. Plus it was fun!

When I read up on it I knew HPDE 3 was where I wanted to be. It's an exciting format, and I especially look forward to some of the fun exercises the group does. I even enjoyed the red/black flag exercise we did. Those kinds of things build experience and confidence. I've systematically worked to improve myself to get here, and I've come a long way from that October day in 2007. I've met a couple of you, and know some Vette owner's who weren't there this weekend as well as a couple guys I'm betting will be running with us next time. Look forward to meeting the rest of you, to running with you at HPR in Sep. and Oct., and wherever we go next year. I think I've found a place I'll really like. Hopefully I can contribute.

Glad to see you out there.
I agree a lot with you mentioning how nice group 3 was for the weekend.
I'll have to say one of the best times I had was the practice flying starts. That was a great new rush in a nice controlled environment. It couldn't have gone any better.

For sure great running with you guys and all the HPDE3 guys and gals.

I couldnt agree with you more about your thoughts on the program. This was my 2 weekend involved with the NASA HPDE program. 3rd time ever at PMP. Top notch all around and I'd be hard pressed to find a better group of people.

The rolling starts were a lot of fun for sure. My wife Tyra was with me for the second rolling start session. She did good except she forgot to breath... in between the.. "oh my god, oh my god, oh my gods":D

Looking forward to next time!

I love the Italian - in a car driven by a guy wearing a Honda shirt. :D

I see a least a couple of reasons to like that vid! ;)

I've owned a Honda. And a Subaru, a Mazda, a Acura (ok two Honda's), a Toyota, and an Audi. Even a Ford. And then I saw the light!!! Just kidding guys, I loved my Mustang but it had an auto. WTF was I thinking?
