Those of you that have made the transition from RA1's to R888's: How have you changed your car setup (tire pressures, camber, sway bars)? I might be going the other way at Miller, as I have a stack of RA-1's in the garage.

R888's want more tire pressure (don't let the wear fool you), less camber, and more controlled driving (throw them around like RA-1's and they'll overheat).

Correct. Also note that the front to rear balance of the car may need to change. I was able to run with more oversteer using the RA-1 and manage the rear sliding. With R888 have found that I need add understeer to prevent the rear end sliding since this will over do the rear tires.

Hey I am late to the party but will add what I have found out with the R888.

2.5 camber in front, 1.5 rear. 38-40 hot tire press. 1/16" toe in rear, 1/16" toe out front.

Drive it like it was your baby. Real smooth and they will produce fast laps and be consistent. Toss it like your RA-1 and you will slide to the back of the pack.

I prefer to drive them with slight understeer on corner exit.
