1981 Gcr/pcs

The RMVR is expanding eligibility to the 1981 GCR next season and copies seem to be near non-existent.
I have tried five seperate times to get one out the SCCA
with no luck yet. My brother is building a 914 over the winter so he needs the new rule. Were both looking forward to driving with NASA next season once we get NASA/RMVR schedules worked out.

1981 - that's not vintage - that's the year I finished undergrad in engineering :cool:

here's something I found by googling. Have you tried these people at SCCA specifically?

Contact John Bauer at SCCA, jbauer@scca.com When I left, he had accumulated a stock of original GCR's going back to the dark ages.

You might also try the SCCA Archivist, Pete Hylton. You can find his email on the SCCA website. While neither may be able to sell you a copy, I'm sure they can copy and send you pages as needed.

The other option may be the SCCA Vintage GCR. It isd a current book that goes back to the mid 50's. No, it's not 10,000 pages!

I know that the SCCA vintage GCR book only goes up to 1972.
