MOMO horn button [Archive]

I got a deal on a MOMO wheel and I was wondering if I need to get the MOMO adapter just to hold the horn button? Because the button won't clip onto the wheel itself.

I believe you do as that is the only way for the wheel to connect to the steering column also. I don't think the wheel has the splines to connect to the steering shaft, only 6 allen head bolts to connect to an adapter - at least that's how I remember mine (it's been awhile since I've had it apart).

Hmmm, somebody is 4 months behind.

Already solved the problem with an adapter piece that gets bolted with and behind the wheel that holds the button.

Has Rowdy been drinking or what??? Repeated posts 7 min. apart?
