Photos?

I saw more than a few people running around with 400mm lenses on their cameras this Sunday, so where are the photos? Ian? Others?

Michele took a bunch of pics and some video with her new camera. It has a 580mm lens, so she should have got some good ones. In my copious free time, I'll see what I can post.

Whoa! 580mm? Where are you people getting these monster lenses from AND what lottery did you win to pay for them?! I'm just hoping to buy an nice 70-200 L series and that's gonna cost me as much as the camera body!

Post em up, or put them out in a service like photobucket or somehting.

Jgray, there is an older 80-200 2.8 L that you can find pretty cheap (if you can find one) and it is my best lens. The AF may not be the fastest but the image quality is epic.

I ordered some pics from the website and they are great. One enlarged picture in glossy is really nice. All arrived quickly, packaged nicely with no damage to the large pic which was in a shipping tube.

That's great to hear! I was really worried about that 24x36" you ordered...largest I've ever printed is 13x19". If you are coming to the banquet, and feel inclined to bring it, I'd love to see it in person.
