If you've never seen the track, download the following and start studying the line. This fast track is the longest road course in Colorado and is lots of fun!

i did this track for the first time last year, and as i recall, i had some difficulty getting turn 10 down pat...that patch of concrete at the beginning of the drag strip was a little spooky

It's an SCCA Club Racing ITS Porsche 944. Basically it's a pretty stock motor, stripped car, and lots of suspension work. Tires are Kumho Ecsta V700s.

Thanks Rick . . . I realized after I downloaded it that it has "944" in the name of the file. :o

Any idea what kind of top speed you hit at the end of the front straight? And how is the track surface these days?

Your video was shot in 2003 apparently right?

I believe the top speed was around 120ish in that car. Straight line power was never it's best quality, but it could handle and break with the best of them. That video was from 2003. There have been improvements to the track since then, but I haven't been there since 2004 so I don't know what the current condition is. However, they are in the process of major adjustments to meet the SCCA Club Racing sactioning guidelines, so expect it to be as good as it's ever been when we get there!
