The following cars are now legal for GTS races. The mods listed below are the ONLY mods allowed for each car. Racecar paint jobs are highly recommended. All cars must have Numbers, NASA stickers and GTS3 stickers (either home made or purchased from the Storefront - search for 'NASA GTS' in Buy Vinyl Groups) on both sides of the car.

Drivers are allowed to modify any of the following to meet their preferred driving style: Tire Preassure, Suspension (Caster, Camber, Toe, Rebound, Compression, Ride Height, Swaybars), Differential and Brakes. Where indicated, a final drive setting or range may be specified and must be followed to keep the cars comparable.

I have a new entry for the GTS series. I tested this car last weekend and it did pretty well, but might require some additional testing, so please check back for any updates that might be made once people start driving it. From the Community Choice Classics Pack (http://www.forzamotorsport.net/en-us/Community_Choice_Classics/):

1990 Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.5-16 Evolution II

Starting PI: D309
Filter: Race
Manifold: Sport
Exhaust: Race
Flywheel: Race
Brakes: Race
Suspension: Race
Front Swaybar: Race
Rear Swaybar: Race
Cage
Weight Reduction: Sport
Clutch: Race
Transmission: Sport
Differential: Race
Tires: Sport
Rear Tire Width: 255/40/17
Wheels: Any
Final Drive: 4.0-4.10 allowed

Final PI: B448
Speed: 5.4
Handling: 5.9
Acceleration: 5.0
Launch: 6.1
Braking: 6.1
HP: 279
Torque: 215
Weight: 2741
Front %: 53
Displacement: 2.5L

With these specs the car will be a little slower in a straight line then the others, but the rear wing on this car is adjustable (only car in GTS with that) so it will out handle and out brake any other current GTS car. Enjoy! ;)

My son and his sister got Forza 3 for Christmas. I'm trying it out now. I'll have to get the ex to get it hooked up to the internet upstairs! All they have is the regular controller, I'll have to get the wheel and pedals?

Not necessarily. The control provides a lot of what you need to have fun and get out and drive. However, if you want to have the better experience, then sure the wheel/pedals will make a big difference but then you might want to/have to build a rig to hold the wheel/pedals and add a seat to get the full benefit. So, no need right away, but if you really get into it then they are definitely worth it.
