"The program for the National Championships is being assembled. TrueSports would like editorial for this publication. This could range from regional stories, human interest type stuff, to thing about your region / programs.
Please send me anything that you would like printed in the program no later than July 20th, please."
Any ideas from you guys? Right now racing at the nationals we've got Raybob, Tommy, Corey, Kevin, myself and possibly Kyle Watkins.

Don't forget that at Miller Kyle ran both SM and AIX. That's four and if he shows at Pueblo for Sunday, he's got 5.:D

Here is what I've been asked.
This is our first ever National Champtionship and this is your opportunity to showcase your region. Perhaps you have a father-daughter racing team, or a disabled racer, amazing instructor story, safety related story, etc. Isn't there anything that you feel would be of interest to the general membership and all the fans?
Not that each and everyone of you isn't special in some way (no jokes...), but they're basically looking for human interest stories. If you want the S**A runoffs on Speed, it's those little side stories that they show.
For example:
Kevin, brag on your Cobra - how you tracked down the parts, how it differs from the cars in the 60s, etc.
Raybob, tell me what got you into racing. Was it your wife's dad and all of his drag racing?
For Kyle, (it's a painful story) but tell of how you were leading the runoffs at MidOhio, what happened and how you're looking for "revenge".
etc....

I can probably put together a good story, but I'm not to race levels yet. Are they only interested in stories concerning our real racers who are also attending Nationals or just stories related to people in our region?
