Greetings! I would like to thank everybody who came by and bought photographs and CD's from me yesterday. Some of you didn't have time to look at my shots on location and I promised to post a link when all the shots were up on the web. Everything was uploaded by midnight. Go to the site and click your class to look at the photographs. You can automatically buy prints on site but if you want a CD with personal copyrights of all images of your car please contact me directly, I have to do that manually.
And the guy with car #99, don't worry, its not there as you requested.;)
Photos are here: www.printroom.com/pro/action
They will be up for about a month before I have to make room for newer events.
For those of you who don't know me I am Colorado's only full time professional motorsports photographer. The bad news is that I work about 80 hours a week and am on the road about 250 days out of the year so I am very hard to get hold of. If you leave me a message I will get back to you, it just might take a while.
I am the staff photographer for several magazines including Grassroots Motorsports and SportsCar magazines. I see you have notice my cover-shot of Clayton on the current issue of SportsCar. I have been that magazines most published photographer since 1995. I have worked with GRM since before they were called that and maybe their most published shooter as well but it is a closer mark.
To survive in this business you can not have any prejudices about racing groups so I have shot just about everything in my career from NASCAR (Oh No!) to F1(Oh Yes!). I have been the Director of Photography at the Pikes Peak Hill Climb, PPIR, RMNS, Reno Grand Prix and am still the head photographer at Bandimere Speedway. In the off season I am the official photographer for the Athletic Department at Colorado University. Yes, I was in Houston for the Big 12 Championship when CU got creamed by Texas.
My philosophy is quality over quantity. I see no reason taking the same photograph over and over again once I get it right.
Hope you guys liked the awards photographs.
I'll post some sample shots from yesterday in a little bit.
