I know I had a great time and it seemed like others did as well. Thanks to Dave and Revkah and all the instructors, workers, and other drivers for making this such a great event. I really enjoyed driving in HPDE3 this weekend. The side by side starting was absolutely awesome!
I did a little write-up for my site members on DSMtuners, hoping to attract a few more DSM guys to future events. You guys are welcome to check it out:

I'm really looking forward to next season now more than ever. Hopefully we have a few more events and some more cars out there - especially in the race classes!

I had a great time also, even though I wished I'd not believed the rain forecasts and brought my track wheel & tires instead of my scrawny streeties. A huge part of the fun is just talking with others that love great cars also. I met some great people, and laughed and laughed at some stories I heard. I DO promise to run faster at the next event. Thanks NASA: this was my first event with you. I'll do more: I really liked the mixture of practical track and line advice and the laid-back faith that car nuts CAN drive well. Anyone wanna give me a Z06?

That side-by-side bit was fun! Once Chuck gave us the "go" a blue STi (guy's name escapes me) and I both TORE by him like starved kids to free cake! :D Group 3 was a fun bunch. Especially chasing down all those silly-fast Vettes and making them eat AWD tire boogers!
I had an awesome time. I really like the idea of the HDPE grouping. It keeps people grouped into similar skill levels, so there's no surprises. Open track days can be a real mess sometimes...
I forgot to talk to Chuck about group 4. Rick says I have plenty of skill and thinks I should move if I want to, as he's driven with me many times. If Chuck is willing to sign me off for G4, I may be out there doing battle with the racers soon!
We just need more tracks around the Denver area..

He'll do with you what he did with me, which is a check ride with a lot of requirements and then a follow-the-leader with passing in the turns. If you pass, then you can move up to 4. That's what I did on Saturday...

I'm pretty sure Don (Group 4 leader) has a rule about how many AWD booger throwers i can move up in one weekend ??? At any rate we can look at ya next time out !
As for passing me on the double file start I wanted to let every car pass me... it was a test yea ... a test.
GREAT JOB HPDE Students on keeping it safe!

2 Graphite Grey Evo MRs terrorizing Group 4 would give me a Chuck-le.

Well, back to the topic, thanks to everyone involved! It was a lot of fun, can not wait for Hastings! I'll definately have my Vette back by then :)
The side by side start was good  I liked it a lot it would be great to do again but maybe at a higher speed. However, the only car I could pass was Chuck (and because he wanted me to) so the Turn 1 thing was not open to me... I would like to see more stuff like this in group 3, not sure if Hastings will have a turn where we could open up the passing or not, but hope so :D
Had a great time!

I had a great time as well. Really loved the "evening enduro". I was really able to work on my driving skills and found out what it's like to run on a road race track in the dark with headlights!
Yeah, that was me in the other AWD blasting past Chuck.
Thanks for letting us stretch ourselves just a little. Seems to be what the RM region is about. Thanks again to everyone that puts in the hard work to make those events possible.

More thanks, despite not getting a lot of driving in, I still had a blast. All of the repair assistance was much appreciated. I'm quite bummed to have missed the changes in the third session, but didn't want to blow anything up further. To everyone that works hard to make these weekends happen, I'm very grateful, especially the tow truck, D'oh !! I will see all you fine folks in Hastings

I had fun making sure you guys had a good experience on the track. I was the guy that didn't have any shade working on the track.
I too thought that the side by side start for group 3 was kewl. Did anyone hear me say green means go? :D :D :D
Who was driving the #90 yellow audi in group 1 or 2 I think. That thing was a monster when he stepped on it. http://www.coracing.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/dribble.gif

His entry said 550HP. That's why he got grouped with the big power cars.
