View Full Version : Dash/windshield mounting options for iphone4?

I recently purchased my new iPhone 4. It shoots incredible 720 HD video. With built in editing to boot.

I'd like to use it to shoot in-car video this weekend. Has anyone come across a good dash or windshield mounting option for the iPhone (4)? Any good universal mounts out there that might work? I could probably fab something up. But I'd rather just buy something, clip in the iPhone and be done with it.

the 944-spec drivers can show you how to do it with duct tape ...

Yeah, like I said, I could probably fab something up... which always includes duct tape.:D

But I may have found something that would be a little less... Umm... 944ish. I just worry about vibration. But the "L" arm on the attachment is solid and short, so hopefully, the vibration would be reduced.

Well I believe I was thinking about this a little too much. Much easier than I thought it would be.

Just this. Very small contraption so no vibration. Video shot on the way to work this morning looked very good.
