Nationals 2010 - tech/classify

For Nationals, is the tech inspection the same as what we do for RM - i.e., same form, etc.? Also, if no mods have been done since beginning of year, do we need to submit a new classification form? Thanks.

At Nationals 2010, I was told that I needed an annual TT inspection log book or I would not be allowed on the track, and that I could get one on site (at Miller). So I did get a log book, etc.

I just checked the 2011 NASA TT rules (v.8.1) and the only mention of this issue is on page 41 (10.1), "As an added benefit ... (TT drivers) may opt to follow a tech inspection process similar to that used by NASA racer ... where the vehicle is issued a NASA TT inspection log book." There is no mention of a log book requirement for 2011 Nationals (section 15).

Anyway, I would appreciate a clarification of this requirement for the upcoming 2011 season.

Thanks for the clarification. I recommend that this provision be added to "NASA Time Trial (NASA TT) Official 2011 National Rules December 20, 2010, Version 8.1," specifically Section 15: NASA TT National Championships (NASA Championships).
