If Mark Klenin succesfully completes his personal comp school on Saturday, he and I plan to run his E46 M3 in the enduro on Sunday. It should be an E0 car, but depending on who enters, we may ask to run in ES, so we don't have to follow the (IMO) silly NASA refueling rules requiring that refueling be done from a manually raised and held container and limiting fuel stops to 10 gallons. We want to use a hand cranked pump ($150 unit) to avoid having to ask our volunteer (and old) crew to lift the fuel jugs. The hand pump with hose should also virtually eliminate the possibility of spills.

Reading the NASA enduro rules was a real eye opener!

Joe, hope you can come join us in E0, that would be fun. Also, you might want to re-read the enduro rules as there are different refueling rules for race 6 hours and longer and races less then 6 hours. That 10 gallon limit is only used for 6 hours and longer races. ;)

You are correct about 10 gallons, but we still have to dump vs. pump. A hand crank pump that screws directly to a 5 gallon jug can be purchased for $149 and would greatly reduce the chance of spillage, I think. Too bad they're not allowed.
