View Full Version : CMC teardowns at Nationals

Warning: the following may be deemed subversive by some folks in the CMC hierarchy...

There have been several threads on the Camaro Mustang Challenge bulletin board about the teardown rule, and how it will be applied at Nationals.

Those of you who have studied the CMC rules will know there is a very simple sentence in those rules: "No teardowns." It's beautiful in its simplicity.

Well, for unknown reasons, the beauty is being tampered with: it is now along the lines of "just a little bit of teardown, it's only a head removal." Reminds me of Animal Farm: all animals are equal, but some are more equal than others. Insidious, no matter how you spin it.

So, I posted my own thread in the Nationals section of the cmcbb. It follows here.

Sorry Tony and Ryan: all due respect, but you guys don't get it.

You throw a turd on the table like "no teardown, except for rockers..." and then lock the topic?

This is CMC. No teardowns. Period. Matt is absolutely correct: show us all the details, in advance, or put this teardown nonsense back where it belongs.

Normally the camel puts his nose under the flap. In this case, his other end is coming in first. But the result will be the same: no teardown leads to "just take of the head" which leads to God knows what.

Hey Criss, I seriously don't think there will be any Head removals at the "Big Show in O-hio".
