Great news for Rocky Mountain E36 M3 owners - Spec M3 now has its own class at NASA Rocky Mountain!

Exciting news here at the beginning of the 2011 season. With interest growing for the Spec M3s here in the Rocky Mountain area, the organizers of Spec M3 and NASA Rocky Mountain have put together a package to get more cars out for the 2011 season.

There will be special local year end point championship, as well as special Spec M3 only contingency which includes year end $ for the points champion ($500), 2nd place ($300) and 3rd place ($200). There will also a free entry given away per weekend if the entry numbers are between 5 and 10 cars, or 2 entries given away if entry numbers are above 10 cars for the weekend!

In addition, the Spec M3 folks are working hard at getting other local and web contingencies in place for the 2011 season as well.

For more information, check back to the official Spec M3 website at www.SpecM3.com.

Note: The website is currently being updated with the 2011 rule set as well as an updated look. I expect the site to be up and running by Wednesday, January 19, 2011.

More to come . . .
