So trying to get a feel for who might be racing in TTA and TTB. The Nismo 350Z min class is TTB so I won't be able to compete with the large TTC group.

To my knowledge Andrew CTS-V is the only other TTB class Car, but suspect some of the M3 TTC cars will/could class up.

I'm open to upclassing to TTA if it helps open the contingency pool although prefer not to because I'm pretty low in points and horsepower in TTB.

Do we expect more TTB and TTA folks to come out of the woodwork later in the season?

I know that Del Armstrong plans to downgrade to TTC...

Cheers!
John

Pretty sure Jeff Werley is TTB. I think David Jobusch will probably end up there as well.

I will be selfish and say, class up to TTA!!! So far its Josh Wyte and myself in TTA, we are hoping for more soon as well.

It won't be for a while (not til next year, actually), but I'll be in the same boat, base in TTB, but likely be an underpowered TTA, depending on what else I do to the car in the long run. I didn't realize TTB was so empty, maybe I'd try to stay there -- you can guarantee no lower than 2nd place!

So good chance of 3-5 in TTB which is decent. Jeff is signed for TTB at the next event so that is more encouraging!

I'll plan on TTB then!

Must find time to fill out the points sheet and get the dyno done....

I too may end up in TTB. I probably won't be out to play until later in the season, though.

As always, Zung will let me know which TT class I am running for the day (above base of TTD) to best fill the field.

i was thinking anywhere from ttb to ttu. i don't keep a copy of the classing rules - but the frame is the same as the street legal cars and a smaller engine as well.

i just figured you could cover the lower groups and i could cover the higher groups (dang that mini is fast :D )

i could pull a plug wire or two :D or put a calibrated block behind the go fast pedal;) or throw a passenger in for ballast

bob could join me in the quixote journey ;)

i know i (and bob) could drop down by slowing  , but i doubt dave could get that fast :D

some of you want to move to ttr to help out bob? ;)

The task here is to assign Dave and Kevin to classes that could use some "help" with contingencies. Depending on the program, the minimum number of cars/class is 3 or more to get any stuff. See: http://www.nasaproracing.com/contingency The exception is Hawk brake pads, where there is no minimum requirement for cars/class. As of tonight, here's the list of competitors signed up for TT:

000 TTA Josh Wyte
411 TTA Jim McKendree

6 TTB Dennis Ondrejka
87 TTB Jeff Werley
89 TTB John Spangler

22 TTC Joel Gray
186 TTC John Scheier

11 TTD Cullen Winter
35 TTD *Chris McComb

37 TTE **Christopher Botts
609 TTE Zung Tran

14 TTF Scott Lockhart

42 TTR Robert Cowan

3 TTS Richard Lavender
7 TTS Joe Rothman
913 TTS Brian Cox

7 TTU Bill Mount
17 TTU Rusty Welch
90 TTU Forrest Thompson

So, Dave and Kevin, I'll give you the option of running in either TTA or TTC. Boy, I wish I had someone to beat in TTE.

Well there's a thought. You happen to have one I could borrow? I wonder how close I can come to Joel's and John's time at PPIR? Hey, Joel and John, watch for me in your rear view mirror:p

I dont believe Joel is running Hoosiers, and I know I'm not. No TTC Hoosier contingency risk. I could bump to B if needed, but only after I give the PPIR CCW record a go or two :)

Pretty sure Mayfield will be TTB when he gets in, if for no other reason than having to tie me to the bumper to make minum weight ;)

Yep, I'm using Nittos and not really interested in the Hoosiers at this point. Do what you will with that info.
