Dave,
Is there a age limit to HPDE? My 16 year old Daughter has been Interested in Learning to race like Daddy for years now. She used to spank her brothers on the karts, now she has her own 96 Z28. I could help with with some instuction.

Thanks Dude,,

Ok. I'm going to put your guys to work on this one, but I'll make it easy. The new 2006 NASA CCR just came out and here's the link. I suggest right clicking on the link and doing a "Save Target As...".

The direct answer is "no", there is no age limit - the "however" answer is in section 3.6 (page 24). To make the answer real easy, yes your daughter can do HPDE (and even race) at 16. Mine will be turning 16 next month and she's been chomping at the bit as well.

Note: Everybody participating in a NASA event is expected to be familiar with the rules in the CCR. It's downloadable and free, so grab a copy and read it over the winter :)
