Long story :(

We've had a few (6-8 at Miller) and I think Bruce Mock plans to race GTS at Hastings in his Bimmer.

We tried bribing the local BMW and Porsche folks with free NASA licenses at Hastings, but they just haven't been sold on racing :confused:.

re why no GTS ... I think it is a chicken and egg thing. NASA is new to the region this year. Porsche, VW and BMW owners are racing with PCA (just raced at Pueblo Sept 15) and SCCA and need time to see that the fun is over here. The GTS National race was quite exciting so should generate some interest next year. We tried running some BMW CCA club races at Pueblo for several years but also couldn't draw the existing BMW racers to it so there wasn't one this year.

I'm mid-build with my Spec E30 car (as are several others) so I'm not racing my e30 M3 which I will sell soon, but I will be having a hoot with it at the track this weekend (well, if my brake pads arrive on Thurs!).

This may have been posted elsewhere, but the reason the PCA guys aren't coming is that they have a club race this weekend at Miller, one of the two nearby PCA club races this year for the Rocky Mountain PCA guys, not to mention a track that they are drooling to try.

I'm pretty sure I can convince 5 or so of the F-Stock PCA drivers to come to some NASA events next year. I'll send Dave a list of email addresses to add to his notification list for next year's events.

I wish I could. We still have one race left (Road America) and I don't want to chance breaking the car. All I have to do is basically finish the races at RA to win the Midwest championship again this year, which is my ultimate goal. I will try and come join you next year..........or better yet, maybe the rocky mountain region and the midwest region could schedule a joint event. It would be great to see you and Kevin again.
