Wondering if any of you folks have any experience contributing to Wikipedia, more specifically, www.trackpedia.com I just went there to see if I could get a page started so that the track (MPH) would be listed, and was reminded of what a luddite  I am. Trackpedia doesn't even acknowledge Nebraska as a state, which makes for a tricky start. C'mon with your computer skills !!

Thats okay. I did not know they existed either.:)

I added a rudimentary link to their website.
Pretty arcane interface!

Odd that they don't have a midwest category for tracks - putting it in the NorthWest seemed strange.
cheers,
bruce

Despite their omission, it is a great site, excellent resource for track info. Oh, and Nebraska is a great state too....

I tend to use this site to locate tracks:
http://chasinracin.com/track-locator/states/index.shtml

And I list all the tracks I can on all my sites as well. Guess I can now add MPH to my databases too.

Thanks for getting that started Bruce, I'm trying to figure out to add links to lap videos, and Randy's turn by turn summary. Again, if any of you guys are good at this stuff please step up before I screw it up. Cheers

Check it out folks, thanks to Bruce for getting it started, and putting Nebraska on the map :p thanks to Randy for his turn by turn guide ;) thanks to my computer geek buddy Mitch (swiss cheese) for getting it all posted. When we can see our lap times, feel free to post them on trackpedia, where are those lap times ???
