Oct PMI event

[HP2]

I was looking at the schedule and noticed there is an event at PMI on October 8-9. On the agenda is sprint and endurance racing. My question is what classes participate in these two types of racing? I'm thinking of coming down to watch, browse the pits, look at cars, and get a feel for a NASA event. So aside from the variety of street cars I'll see in HPDE, what race cars will be in attendance?

From what I understand that event is no longer gonna happen. PMI is repaving the track so our NASA event wont happen. Our next and final event of this year is at High Plains Raceway in 2 weeks.

Thanks for the links. Unfortuante the Oct date is cancelled, but I'm glad to hear they are doing something about the track surface. August is already fairly booked for me so I'll see if I can rearrange some things and come out to watch.

I talked to revkah. She says she is working a plan for beyond august.


If there is nothing going on for that same october weekend, I might consider going to road america with nasamidwest....

Lived in the twin cities for a few years back in grad school, and went to RA for the Champ Car event back then -- loved it! Beautiful course, would love to drive it.
And in October, Wisconsin should look amazing with all the tree changes....

But, 16 hour drive??? :confused:
