Size 225/40-18 fronts and 285/30-18 rears. These four tires are off of my 993tt. they have 3000 miles and one track day on them. Good for both street and track. Better on the track than MPS's IMO. Free to any NASA member. I'm in Boulder. PM me.

Done. Couldn't go to a better guy who's trying to help the NASA community.

I burned the rears this weekend at Hastings on my 996, sure could have used a newer set. :(
Chuck are those tires going to fit your 944's or did you by a 911 this week?

did i buy a 911 ... you funny guy . yep they will slap right on to the good ole 944! but i dont think i will have a problem "burning" up the rears. the rims are the ones I told you about in laJunta....

Down to the steel cord on the outside. I don't think I should track them again and was going to swap them all out for some 710's or other Kuomo's as this seems to be the tire of choice and I cannot get Toyo's for that car.
Nancy was running the same model Bridgestones this weekend and they appeared to perform well. :D

It seems that everybody is in love with Mich Pilot Sports except me. They are OK on the street but you still need to be careful at <50 degrees and I don't push it on the street anyways. They do wear well at the track but on a warm day I could never get more than three laps before they got very greasy. I'd save some money and buy the Kuhmo's or I really did like the S-02's for all around.
I put Mich Pilot Sport Cups on and love them. Really horrible on the road even though they are DOT legal. However, terrific feel and feedback on the track. Two laps to warm up and every lap is the same after that. I don't think a 911 will take any more grip than the CUP's before the suspension needs to be beefed up.
What a slippery slope....

I have mostly tracked a new set of the Mich Pilot Sports this year and have not been happy with them at all. Now granted that's 5 tracks in 6 months but I will never buy them again. Wish I could have snagged your tires last night.
I'm looking at Kuomo 710's or Victory's (sp?) but no more Mich.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Nitto has a new R-Compound tire... NT01. It's a little cheaper than the VictoRacers or 710's and has a tradwear rating of 100 instead of 50. Could get a little more use out of 'em. Just a suggestion. :)
