Wow What a great weekend of 944 racing !

We had nearly 20 944's at the track and as of today we have 2 new racers joining in .

Hey Chuck- I'm 90% sure I'm going to make the leap into the 944 world.
I've just got to sell my 98 M3 first to make room- I'm waiting to do that until after the Fall BMW driving school in a few weeks. I've been using that car the last two years in HPDE and am being sucked in more and more.

Time for a real race car that doesn't have to hold daily driver duties...

Yes , HPDE in a street car is GREAT fun but as you stated there is a certain amount of freedom that comes from being able to push it off a cliff ....... figure that out and you get one free round of Dirksing on your new car.

So what do we need to do to help push you 10 more percent ? I know of some really sweet deals right here before Nationals ...

Yeah- I know, step by step, right?
I must be tired of watching all the 944 guys have all the fun and know that there is no better way to prepare for W2W racing than with the car I would use. Might as well run the 944 in HPDE until I get a comp license.
The fact that you can turn David Dirks into a verb ('Dirksing'???), pretty much sums up the vibe of the group as far as I can tell.
Now to sell that M3...

lol, i have an E46 race car now... so my DD needs are renewed with hopes for an E36 or E30. Driving the Duramax around kinda sucks.
