The man, the myth, the legend Mike Kapp himself in the flesh has graced this thread. It will be a treat to rub elbows and fenders in CMC with this California CMC legend.
If the rest of you don't know him, please let me introduce the man.

or rent out a CMC and race the 944-spec....

One of my first cars was a 1985 Mustang GT so I've been looking around for one to daily drive and we all know thats a short hop to race car. I would guess one weekend with the Boys of CMC and my car would be race legal.

I'm not in a big rush but some time in the next 6 months.

Hey everyone,
I used to race in the AI East but had to move to California for my job. I have been in the process of rebuilding my 1990 mustang since I have been here in Cali. I am now moving to Colorado to be near family and I should be living in Parker within the next 6 months or so. Is there any way to keep up with the goings on in the Rocky Mountain Region?

Yes, I frequently visit that site and have learned quite a bit from it- thanks.

I understand your meeting is only for those committed to driving in 2007. My thinking was that, for those of us "on the fence" about CMC, meetings like these may provide another means to better understand the series in general, meet the people involved, etc...especially since many of us aren't going to be at a race track for several more months.

Thanks, anyway!

Just wondering if anybody wanted to do another AI/CMC AIX pow wow in February. See where everyone is at on there cars, who needs help, who needs parts, and to drink some cool refreshing beverages and do some bench racing. Let me know. It is pretty cold outside and depressing right now. I think a nice big warm garage, some bench racing, maybe look at our cars that we built this winter, and oh yeah, some cool refreshing cocktails. Personal safety equipment is killing me.

Cage. No problem I can put it on the race car card.
Seat. Scrounged up some money.
Fire ext. blah 30 bucks

Suite, helmet, gloves, socks, harness etc is killing me. I probably wont have the money untill may or so.

Just sold some race car stickers, club stickers, and some other stuff. Should have packages ready for the various spec class racers at a great pirice. If I can get some more business drummed up that will help. I dont think its going to happen by March.

Like I said not giving up.

Yo Tommy,

The 12 car is coming along - finished the T5 swap, and looks good. I will complete the cage this weekend and ready to wrap up the interior and paint. All I need now is a new windshield - broke out the old one, much easier getting all the old crap out and working on the pedal swap. I will go thru the brakes / replace a leaky rear axle seal - and a ton of odds / ends. - then to Dyno Days:)
FYI Dave - put me down for the 10th. Cannot get to Parker on the 3rd. Hockey Tourny in the Springs - and will need the extra time to have it ready. Will have to drag it to Broomfield:(

See you all later on Saturday.

Fezz
