If only they had an LS7 option...the Cobra would have been traded long ago.

I'm wondering what the new GTO would look like in 2008? I haven't found any concepts for it yet.

My personal opinion is that I prefer the understated looks of the outgoing model...it just didn't have the LS7 available and only has seating for 4.
Production of the current GTO has ended along with the Holden Monaro. It's replacement is said to be coming out sometime in 2007 as a 2008 model year. The new concept is just a Google search away...
Here's a few of the images that have produced based on spy shots of the Holden HSV.

This one's a winner -- The design for the new GTO coming to Pontiac showrooms in 2007 as a 2008 model. The big, rear-drive sport coupe will be designed and built in the U.S., possibly at GM's Hamtramck or Wilmington plants, and it's likely to show up in concept form at a 2006 auto show, probably Detroit in January.
Internally called the GMX282, the 2008 GTO will be built on GM's new Zeta platform, now under development in Australia by GM's Holden subsidiary. The Zeta platform brings new suspension all around, with a more sophisticated independent rearend promising better traction and even sweeter handling. The wheelbase has grown marginally to 110 inches. The next GTO will carry over the 6.0-liter, 400-horse LS2 from the current car as well as the six speed manual transmission.
The new GTO looks more muscular than the today's model, with a fastback roofline and strong tension in the profile and pumped fenders. Overall length is down 0.8 inch to 189. The only retro nods on this car are the wide-track Pontiac-style front end and the twin hood scoops. Ironically, the design is being done under the direction of Australian Mike Simcoe, who designed the current GTO as a Holden Monaro in 1997 and is now responsible for all GM North American cars.

The new GTO will be the sister car to the new Camaro on the zeta platform. They will both be great cars, my source at GM says they WILL retake road race dominance. The word is that the TRG GTO's were a test drive for the next wave. Look out Ford boys, I will be one of the first new 5th gen Camaro AI Racers if I don't go CMC.
MHISSTC are you gonna have your CMC car done by May of 07?

Those concepts are strictly for the new Monaro and not for the GTO. And the drawings are just that, drawings. They look too similar to the recent design.
GM as well as Pontiac has announced earlier this year, after the veiwing of the new camaro, that they will be using the new platform as Raybob mentioned.
The most recent dicussions revolved around the throw back design for the GTO which I think would kick a$$. As long as they stick around the '65-'67 designs. There was a certian styling that the GTO carried up till '67 that was supple yet menacing when the tiger was released.
Also, because of the GTO using the zeta platform there are still no plans for rereleasing the firebird. There is a rumor, I mean A RUMOR, that there will be a T/A version of the GTO but that is yet to be confirmed.
So that goes back to where there are no concepts for the new GTO that i know of. As for the 2006 auto shows their have been no GTO concepts. One more thing is that the expected release of the new GTO will be after the release of the new camaro, approximately 6 mos.
